Introduction
to Rockmirth

At Rockmirth, you
will find a beautiful, rural and
rustic retreat, on 111 ponderosa
pined acres. Rockmirth is unique;
we are on the east face of the Sangre
de Cristo Mountains – where
the Rockies meet the Plains - nestled
in the palm of a canyon among the
Strike Valleys; Rockmirth begins
at an altitude of 7500 ft and the
top of the ridge is 8200.
We have a 4-wheel drive accessible
road to the ridgeline, and an infinite
number of gorgeous hikable spots
to magic vistas, rock formations,
Aspen-filled watersheds, oak groves,
and maybe secret, inspiring sites
only you will discover!
In our fresh mountain-airy summer,
you will be treated to our verdant
color-extravagant gardens, swallowtail
butterflies, and carousing hummingbirds.
June is our hottest season; July
and August tend to warm and sunny,
80’s or so, with afternoon
showers and rainbows during monsoon
season. Evenings are cool, requiring
jackets and we sleep in cool mountain
air year round.
Enjoy the delicious fragrance of
wild roses in the spring, meadows
lush with wildflowers in the fall…

birdsong by day and incredibly clear starry
skies by night in every season. Rockmirth
is blessed to be in a dark-sky area, our
views of the constellations and planets
are stunning!
Our drinking water is scrumptious from
the tap: mountain-high elixir! And the
air as well. Rockmirth affords the opportunity
to do your work in the peace, quiet and
sanctuary of a very special place.
We are haven to a splendidly diverse population
of animals and birds; a refuge of peace
with deep, ecological connections, animate
and alive, an enduring nest for creativity.
Work and joy, silence and community-based
creative productivity go hand in hand
here.
